Our History
The seventeen inaugural members of In Accord met in January 2004 to discuss the formation of a new chorus. Although a variety of tastes and talents existed, there was also a shared love of close harmony singing, the desire to improve personal performance – and just as importantly to have fun!
We decided our optimum membership should be about twenty, which enables
us to work closely as team and with minimal organisation. Our members
are all ages and come from all walks of life. Our rehearsals and most
of our gigs take place at evenings and weekends.
